Level 1 – Beginner  3 hour session   Maximum 2 students per session
                In the Freehold studio 41 Silvers Road Freehold, NJ 07728

This workshop is designed to clear up your confusion and open the doors to mastering the technical features
of your Digital SLR camera and further you on your journey of creative exploration.

Time will be spent on all those buttons and menus, and learning what those settings mean.  
We will discuss the elements of depth of field, shutter speed, and ISO.  
As you gain knowledge of these principles, we will begin exploring creative ways to use them.

      ·         Learn how to shoot in manual mode
      ·         Learn F-stop, shutter speed and ISO controls
             Learn how to use depth of field to make creative images
      ·        Critiquing of images at the end with instructions using Adobe Lightroom to edit the images.

·     Level 2 – Nature workshop at Sayen Gardens in Hamilton
               3 hour session   Maximum 4 student per session  

  This workshop is also designed for the beginner and the nature lover. It's limited in number for personal attention.

This workshop will help to clear up your confusion and open the doors to mastering the technical features
of your Digital SLR camera and further you on your journey of creative exploration.

Time will be spent on all those buttons and menus, and learning what those settings mean.  
We will discuss the elements of depth of field, shutter speed, and ISO.  
As you gain knowledge of these principles, we will begin exploring creative ways to use them.

You will experience the full range of different lighting situations. Learn how to shoot a subject in the shade
and expose correctly for the very bright sun (hopefully). There are open fields to the inner forest of shooting fun.

Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for some good exercise walking this 30 acres of beautiful gardens.
There is only "in camera" critiquing on site.
